When a mobile phone enters a designated quiet zone its ring volume will change - depending on phone manufacturer specifications. For example, one type of phone may switch to vibrate, while another will ring at a much lower volume setting, and a third might divert callers to voicemail. As long as the phone remains in the "Zone" it will be quiet. Once it leaves the quiet zone, the phone reverts to its previous volume settings -- seamlessly, automatically and effortlessly.
